Cell-Dyn 3000
Abbott Cell Dyn 3000 has capability to measure parameters including WBC, RBC, Hgb, Hct, MCV, MCH, MCHC, PLT, MPV, RDW, M%, M#, G%, G#, E%, E#, L%, L#, B%, and B#.
Abbott Cell Dyn 3000 has a throughput of 110 CBCs per hour. This analyzer with S150 open and 250 closed options has standard features such as closed tube sampling, 5 part differential, histograms and scatterplots, RS 232 Interface.
Cell-Dyn 3500
The Abbott Cell Dyn 3500 automated hematology analyzer employs dual technologies to provide the basis for a five-part WBC differential. Multi-Angle Polarized Scatter Separation (M.A.P.S.S.) provides the primary white blood cell count, all differential information, and reticulocyte analysis, while impedence provides additional information in the presence of fragile lymphocytes and hypotonically resistant red blood cells. The instrument features extended WBC and PLT linearity, RBC and indices corrected for WBC count. The Cell Dyn 3500 features an automatic start-up cycle designed to prime the flow system and check the background counts. The analyzer also automatically performs a shut-down cycle and places itself in a standby mode. It offers both open and closed sampling options on two instrument versions. A patient report can be customized to include the following information: patient identification, 22 parameters and a limit sets, color cytograms, color histograms, and manual differential transcription area on a color printout. The 540 MB hard drive provides for on-board storage of 10,000 patient reports. The multi-tasking system permits data editing while samples are being processed.
Accurately Measures 22 Parameters:
WBC, NEU#, NEU%, LYM#, LYM%, MONO#, MONO%, EOS#, EOS%, BASO#, BASO%, RBC, HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW, PLT, MPV
The CELL-DYN 3700 offers advanced diagnostic capability for clinical laboratories. The instrument performs simultaneous optical and impedance measurements on white blood cells, and has been designed to choose the correct answer even in the presence of problematic specimens. This capability equates to better accuracy, less review and a higher number of reportable patient results. The CELL-DYN 3700 can be configured as a fully automated system including a sample loader or as a single sample closed system. The system provides a complete 23-parameter CBC at a rate of 90 samples per hour.
